Having great products is key to creating a look that will last and make you feel fantastic. Sure, a lot of the luxury products are fab and worth the investment however there are a lot of products from the high-street brands that have great results and won’t break the bank! Luckily, we’ve done the trial and error so you don’t have to!

Here are Unveil’s top 10 high-street products;

  1. Seventeen – Semi Permanent Liquid Eyeliner – Tattoo Me £3.99
This literally doesn’t budge all day and it requires an oily eye make-up remover such as the Nivea double effect eye makeup remover to take it off! Has very similar consistency to the MAC liquidlast, but a third of the price.
  2.  No7 – Instant Illusions Rapid Radiance Balm – £17.00
Clues in the name, Radiance. This is great to use as a moisturiser if you have oily skin or after your moisturiser if you have dry skin just to add light-reflecting qualities to your skin before you apply your foundation.
  3. NYX Professional Makeup 3c Palette – Conceal, Correct, Contour – £10
This is a great palette for those of you who have some discolouration and want to correct and then conceal. It’s an absolute steal at £10 considering you get 6 different shades.
  4. Maybelline – Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara – £7.99
If you like volume then this mascara is for you, it add’s drama for the low cost of £7.99!
  5. Bourjois – Healthy Mix Foundation – £9.99
Such a lovely formula, not to heavy but buildable. Lets your skin breath and gives a lovely even skin tone to your complexion.
  6. Maybelline – Fit Me Concealer – £5.99
For those of you who only need one shade of concealer just to fix blemishes, these concealers are wonderful. They really remind me of the NARS concealers but a lot cheaper! A little goes a long way!
  7. Seventeen – Skin Wow Primer – £4.99
This is sold as a “primer” however I use it as a liquid highlighter and it’s quite intense to use over the whole face so I would experiment with this but whenever I wear it people always ask what I’m wearing and I love telling everyone it’s one of the cheapest on the market and really does the job!!
  8. Revlon – Photo Ready Cream Blush – £7.99
Cream blushes always give a beautiful glowing finish as they blend into the foundation harmoniously, and this Revlon one is fab – very similar to the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge’s
  9. NYX – Professional Makeup Soft Matte lip cream – £5.99
Liquid Lipsticks are everywhere at the moment and these NYX one’s are fab! They have loads of colours so there’s something for everyone. Just make sure your lips are really moisturised and balmed before you apply or else they can dry out too much. If you like a glossy finish these aren’t for you, they’re very matte.
  10. Sleek Highlighter Eye Palette Solstice – £9.99
This is such a versatile product. You can use it on your skin, eyes, and body. It adds light and luminosity. Two baked powders and 1 cream and 1 shimmer. What more do you need!? Always use the cream to blend into the skin then powder on top. Highlight under the brow bone, inner corners of eyes, cupids bow, cheek bones etc. Et Voila, bright and beautiful!
